About
Hi, my name is Anika Rasheed (she/her)
As a Certified Trauma-Informed Somatic Practitioner, Sound Healer, and Wellness Facilitator, I support individuals, communities, and organizations in building nervous system awareness, emotional regulation, and overall wellbeing.
My work integrates neuroscience, mindfulness, movement, and sound to offer practical, accessible tools that help people feel more grounded, resilient, and connected to themselves. My sessions blend psychoeducation with guided experience, including breathwork, gentle movement (seated or standing), grounding practices, and sound-based relaxation.
I have facilitated over 100 wellness sessions across Toronto, working with diverse groups including seniors, corporate workplaces and employees, community organizations, women’s programs, and increasingly with students and educational institutions. My approach is adaptable and inclusive, supporting participants across different ages, abilities, and life experiences.
With over a decade of experience in public service in equity policy, change management, and people and culture, I bring both systems-level understanding and lived experience into my work.
My clients have shared that I am known for creating safe, engaging spaces where participants can explore practical tools for managing stress, building self-awareness, and supporting their mental and emotional health.
